It’s time for another shameful look at my book case to once again pick out some series I have started but haven’t yet finished and discuss whether or not I already plan to finish the series or if I need some encouragement to do so…

Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children Series by Ransom Riggs
At the time I read book 1 in this series, it was a trilogy and people were getting excited about a book 4 coming out! Now there are 6 books I believe! I enjoyed book 1 enough, according to my review of it on goodreads, but I’ll be honest – I don’t remember any of it. So, if I was to finish this series I’d have to start again and I’m not sure that I have the desire to do that…
Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan
I read these books at a time where I was utilising audio books more, and I’ve come to realise that if I didn’t finish the series at the time then going back to it that way just isn’t going to happen. Not only that, but I don’t actually remember much! I’ve since received the Percy Jackson books as physical copies, and so hopefully I will pick up the books again and read them! But somehow, a lot like Miss Peregrines, a series I thought was complete at 5 books, has got 2 more books out and another on the way!!

The Trials of Apollo Series by Rick Riordan
Another Rick Riordan series!! Again, I started this series on audio, but I don’t use that anymore… So I’m definitely behind on this series. What I’m learning is, perhaps I need to just re-read Riordan’s catalogue of books… Because I definitely hope to reread and finish this series. I’m pretty sure 2 more books have come out since I was reading this series!
Gone Series by Michael Grant
I read and loved Gone back in 2013 I think? And for some unknown reason didn’t continue with the series. Actually, I say unknown – I think it’s because I was at university and didn’t have many books with me. So I would absolutely love to actually finish this series! Though – just like all the others, there are so many more books in this series than I thought!! I’ve also just discovered the first five books in this series are on Kindle Unlimited in the UK!

I don’t keep a record of series I’ve started but haven’t finished, and maybe I should because the more I look into it the more I’m annoyed at myself for starting so many new series’ and jumping between them!! Perhaps I need to go back to my old habits of starting and finishing a single series before moving onto another… Jury is still out on that decision!
Anyway, do you think I should continue with any of the above series? For example, I could really use a push to continue Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children Series! Let me know if it’s worth reading!
