Review:

I feel like this will be a hard review to write, because even though I am normally a blind reader (I don’t read the blurb etc), I really think you should go into this knowing nothing. I debated not including the synopsis from Goodreads on this page because I think it really is better to know nothing and just trust the author is about to tell you an excellent story…

You are told right from the start not to trust anything you read next, and I fixated on that so much that I truly didn’t trust anything. Any time I was getting complacent and started trusting what I was reading I was hit with a twist or something significant enough to act as a reminder that you should indeed TRUST NOTHING.

I love Steve Cavanagh’s writing, from the first word I know I am in for a good time where I’m going to be moved to the edge of my seat guranteed. Twisted was something else! It never didn’t feel like a Cavanagh book, but it also never felt like anything I had read before… It is very good and well worth the read.

If you like Eddie Flynn, then without a doubt pick up Twisted because I almost gurantee you’ll enjoy it! And if you haven’t read any of Steve Cavanagh and this stand alone is the first thing you’re thinking about picking up, I say go for it! But be prepared to fall down the Cavanagh worm hole, and have the Eddie Flynn series ready to go!

I’m definitely planning on reading his other stand alone, Kill for Me, Kill for You. And I am of course looking forward to the next instalment in the Eddie Flynn series. Steve Cavanagh has become one of those autobuy authors for me and I cannot recommend his work enough!

Never let MURDER get in the way of a good story.
