Oh boy, I’m feeling the stress around completing challenges now… I am starting to have to accept that I might not manage to complete anything extra on my Bingo board, and I might not finish my 26 in 2026 challenge… I’ll be lucky if I do actually reach the Goodreads reading goal!
But, here is my TBR for November… I’m returning to 6 prompts this month! But I also have a list of hopefuls, that even though they aren’t part of the official TBR, I’ve got in my notes app so they act as options for me to pick from as well when I’m trying to reduce decision paralysis.
So, first things first…
I’m in the middle of…
Girls of Dark Divine by E.V. Woods
I started reading this towards the end of the month, but it was really slow going and as a result I just didn’t make a lot of progress on it by the time the weekend rolled around which was my cut off to get on this post… So with that in mind, I’m hoping to finish this early in November but I gurantee nothing.

A Match Made in Hell by charlotte Ingham
I didn’t have crazy high expectations for this one when I added it to my 26 in 2026 – rather I was hoping it would be a fun time at Halloween! Sadly, I picked this up right before my cut off for this post and so it’s on here! But I have hopes of finishing it by the end of October!
Onto the fun stuff!
Picks from the TBR Prompt Jar!
1. Read a Fairyloot book
Two immediately jumped out at me, and then I opted to finish a duology (at least I think it’s a duology!)! I chose This Blade of Ours by Shalini Abeysakara! I am really excited to be back with Sarai and Kadra even though the first book did read as if it wrapped up the story. But Shalini’s writing and characters are excellent so I am very much looking forward to picking this up.
2. Read the longest title on your TBR cart
Instead of counting letters, I just counted words in the title this time… So, that led me to In the Blink of an Eye by Jo Callaghan! I’m really excited to actually get to this one finally, I don’t know why I have been putting this off – I shouldn’t have been! I had no idea this was a series at the time I picked this up but it seems to be well enjoyed! So, I’m looking forward to join that group!
3. Read a Book Written by a Duo
I have two on my physical TBR and I wasn’t sure how I would choose between them… But I simply went with the shorter book in the end! So, I’ve picked Zodiac Academy: The Awakening by The Twisted Sisters, Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. I tried this earlier in the year but stopped when I heard that it was a bully romance and I wasn’t ready to read it then. I think I’m good now!
4. Read a book from your 26 in 2026
This was a hard one, not because I didn’t know what I wanted to read – I knew immediately which book to pick – but because there is so many left on my 26 in 2026 list!! So, I knew what I wanted to pick but I feel bad about it! Nevertheless, my choice is If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio because I really wanted to pick this up in October but I don’t own it already and didn’t want to pay the kindle cost!
5. Read a Sequel (specifically a book 2)
I really wanted to read a book that was on my shelf already, but honestly I got an ARC for this book and it releases early November… I want to read it so damn badly! It’s Captive Traitor King by Brigid Kemmerer because having an early copy on my kindle is already hard enough to ignore! So you best bet I’ll dive into it the moment it turns November 1st!
6. Read a book with the prettiest sprayed edges on your TBR
I looked at my shelf, and knew immediately what my choice was – because I almost picked it for my Bingo square of the same prompt – and that was The River She Became by Emily Varga because those edges are so pretty!

Digital TBR Take Down

Deception by Jack Jordan
I did the random number gen option again, and got 188. Am I sure that my kindle tbr list on Goodreads is 100% accurate? Not at all, but I do try to keep it accurate! So, this is good for me! I’m looking forward to Deception – it seems like a morally grey situation! Sounds like fun.
