I wanted to create a book stack that matches my April theme, so I’ve gone with yellow spines (except for Cleopatra… but those edges are pretty!) for this stack! My April theme is sunflowers so this stack has got some darker yellows as well! I thought I would struggle to get a lot of yellow covers but actually I was pleasantly surprised! Tell me you may be slumping, without telling me you’re slumping. Yeah, it was when I realised I had multiple books on the go (way more than my usual limit) at the same time… And then I started yet ANOTHER read on my lunch break at work, that was when it really hit me that perhaps I’m slumping. We are already done with the first quarter of 2026! Which is crazy! I can’t believe that this year is going so fast… So, let’s talk about the Quarter 1 favourites! I have never been so desperate to track would be annotations before as to take a photo of the page with my phone, edit the picture to highlight the quote or section and then save it in a dedicated notes page…
